Exhibition 7: Federico Colli and the Ehrbar Saal

On February 27th 2021, we travelled to Vienna's iconic Ehrbar Saal. At the end of the pandemic, the historic hall - which had seen performances by Rubinstein, Brahms, Bruckner, Schönberg und Mahler - stood bankrupt and empty. We were invited by the new owners, Bechstein Pianos, to film and record there.

This seventh collection is part of the visual album we filmed that day, reworked into a triptych of works by Mozart. This was Federico's first performance since the beginning of the pandemic, during which the city descended back into lockdown. The audio performance itself is one single live recording in the deserted city on Saturday February 28th, 2021.
